What to Grow
I’ve grown everything over the years ! But now I just grow what my family loves to eat and about a million cut flowers because they make me happy. Think about what you and anyone else in your house enjoys eating. You can get tips here and find out how to grow it and when.
Some crops are just for one season like peas, beans, tomatoes and salads and you can just choose what you like from the seed packets each spring. But others need a bit of time before we get the results and you need to let the plants get established before you get a crop like asparagus, fruit trees and berries. You’ll start reaping the benefits after the first year and you just leave them in the same spot year after year so that’s a little more planning but they keep on giving without the need to buy new plants so they are worth including if you have the space.
